My resume of 2009 feels kind of boring. Somehow I regret starting with it, but at the same time I feel that I have to finish what I have started.

May was the month when my blog got a big revamp, I flied with an aeroplane for the first time since 2000 and I cut my hair and lost 5kg according to the hairdresser.
I played softball with a wig in the Drottningholm castle area along with Jenny and her friends. It was really fun and I hope we’ll do it again this year.
In May my mum turned 60 and celebrated her birthday together with me on Crete.

I was totally bored in school and had no motivation what so ever after coming back from my first internship period. The only good things in school this month were the lectures and workshops with Johan Lange.
I made a little comeback at my internship company when they arranged Habit Fashion Summit at Grand Hôtel. While being there I was blogging in the Habit blog.
In May I finally set up this wordpress blog, something I did way to late. My old blog survived for to long really. This was also the month when I got to understand how useful Twitter is. I started to follow more interesting people and got to know my first tweeps.
The month started with a trip to Crete together with my mum. We had a nice week even though it started with 3 days of rain…
In the end of the month I also made a little trip to my home county Östergötland.
I started training again and I really enjoyed it. Running along the beach in the sunrise at Crete was lovely.
May was the month when I started to read Dreams from my father by Barack Obama. A book I haven’t finished yet. I only have about 50 pages left though ;)

April was a really good month for me when I enjoyed myself most of the time. I loved being at my internship company Mentor, I bought some new tech gadgets and I had some great times together with my wonderful friends..
In the beginning of the month I attended the Bachelorette party for Pernilla in Linköping. We had dinner at Harry’s and went to the theater to watch Cabaret. On Easter Saturday I went to Linköping again to spend some time with Anna, Andreas, Tobias and Björn, I got to see Anna and Andreas new house and experienced Ljungsbro by night. The day after Stefan and Pernilla also joined us for some quality time together.
Sanna and her friend Sandra had a little party with “children’s party” theme, I went there with Lorraine and even though we weren’t alot of people at the party we had great fun and lots of good laughs.
In April, Stefan and Pernilla also got married and had a party for their friends in their house in Linköping which I of course attended.

During the Easter holiday my brother, sister-in-law and I where all at my parents house. I harassed them the whole weekend with my new camera. I also visited my grandfather at the recovery clinic this weekend.

I was at Habit more or less the entire month. I enjoyed my time and wasn’t happy at all about going back to school in the end of the month.
As you might have understood from what I have written above I made a lot of trips to Östergötland during April, actually I made three of them.
In April I bought a new cellphone after I had had my Sony Ericsson K700i for 4,5 years. The Sony Ericsson C902 is already to old to fulfil all my needs though and before 2009 was over I abandoned the phone.

I bought a new camera which I love but don’t use often enough to become the good photographer I would like to be.

I also attended an evening class in InDesign this month which took place in the Mac classroom at Medieskolan.
The only film I watched but most of all produced in April was the film about Stefan which I gave to Stefan and Pernilla at their wedding party. The film was really appreciated.

The photo of the month is from when I was at Grand Hotel for a pressbreakfast where Marianne Bernadotte gave a scholarship to the designer Helena Hörstedt. And I caught the old lady while she was drinking juice directly from the bottle.

In March I got to taste real life when I did my first internship. I realized that work > school.
Friends:
I had my first really great night out in Stockholm since I moved here. Together with Lorraine, Sanna, Susanna and Karin I had so much fun and I came home after the newspaper :)
My aunt Marianne and cousin Anna came to visit me during a weekend in the middle of March. We had a great weekend together with lots of good laughs.
My first internship period at Habit started and I learned to wake up early in the morning. I got routines and after some months with a lot of stomach problems I started to enjoy life again. During this time I didn’t blog much though. Commuting stole my time.

My aunt, cousin and I went to Klara Kyrka for a gospel concert with the Ådahl brothers where I got to hear some good old favourites of mine :)
When my aunt and cousin visited me we went to the cinema and watched Män som hatar kvinnor. A really good movie in my opinion. I also wrote a little review of it.

In February I cut and dyed my hair at Peggis Barbershop in Norrköping. Something that was really well needed.

In the beginning of the month I visited Daniel & Emma to play some boardgames with them and Stefan & Pernilla to see their new house.
I also was at the Resumébar with some classmates to hang around with our future colleagues.
In the end of the month I visited Frida, Jimmy and their daughters but I also made a second visit at Stefan and Pernillas place where I also met Anna, Andreas, Tobias and Björn. Björn had also brought his girlfriend Josefin for the first time, a really nice girl who I’ve got to know during the year.
I visited my family in Norrköping twice this month. My parents in their house, my grandfather at the recovery clinic and my grandmother in her apartment.
In February I published a personal poem for the first time ever.
I was at Café Sturekatten to write a report for school. While I was there I ran into the Swedish pop singer Robyn.
In the beginning of the month I went to Östergötland to visit my chiropractor, dentist, grandfather, and some friends. The month ended with another trip to Östergötland to cut my hair and visit more friends.
I found Nanoblogg and was in love with a new social media platform. Although I don’t use it anymore, it was a great idea but I didn’t get much use of it.

A boardgame evening with my neighbours was announced so I brought Ticket to ride and went there, even though I usually don’t go to places where I don’t know anyone. They weren’t boardgame geeks like me but I had pretty fun anyway. I played against three guys and won :)
I listened to my old friend Gustaf Spetz at Mosebacke and bought his new album. I really like to listen to it from time to time, not only because he is my friend, he is also a great musician.

In February my camera died so I can’t say that I have any photo of the month :(
My grandfather Bernth died this morning. After almost 92 years he fell asleep peacefully for the last time today.
My grandfather was a man who enjoyed life most of the time. He loved children and as his grandchild I couldn’t have gotten a better grandfather. My brother and I were the apples of his eye. Even when he became older and infirm, when he met children, his eyes really shone and he was playing with them as best as he could. He used to lark about with adults as well as children and he was full of great stories. If it wasn’t stories from his life as a milk machine fitter at farms all over the country, it was made up stories he had learned as a child about trolls and giants around the Örebro area where he grew up. I have spent many days in my grandmother’s and grandfather’s garden, where we played soccer or crocket together, times which are great memories for me. During his life my grandfather spread a lot of joy and laughter around him. He also had a very big heart, he always cared about people around him and wished them prosperity.
Even though he was very weak and mostly slept the last two weeks of his life, he wanted and tried to hug my brother and me less than a week ago when we visited him. He really loved us and we loved him.
Since he believed in God all his life, I think he is better off where he is now.

I will try to summarize the year of 2009 according to me, with 12 blog posts. The first post in my summation will be categorized as follows.
The first month of the year was mostly about school for me. I had a lot to do with school work and I didn’t leave Stockholm during the whole month.
For my family January wasn’t the best month. My grandfather broke his femur and he will never be able to walk again.
I celebrated the new year with my best friends at Tobias summer cottage.
School was all about the term project which I together with Anna and Elisabeth. I was going back to php coding, which I really enjoyed. We also had a term exhibition where we presented our project for the school and other interested people. In the end of the month I wrote my term examination and got a good grade ;)
I wrote this personal blog post about my life as an avaocado plant.
Technology:
I bought an Olympus digital voice recorder which has been very useful throughout the year.

I watched Mio in the land of Faraway for the first time ever and was a bit dissapointed because of the dubbing.
Coldplay won three out of three Rockbears and I congratulated them and some other winners.
I followed Körslaget on TV and watched my friend Jon lose and my friend Elinor win.
I read Hemlös med egna ord which I liked and wrote a little review about it.
